DOWNLOAD AND CHECKLIST

Compare the configuration, not just the machine name

A practical framework for comparing your equipment shortlist.

01

Capacity and geometry

Use this equipment comparison checklist to compare complete configurations. First, record the working range. Then check the tooling, positioning, handling and delivery scope in each quote.

02

Included equipment

Identify standard tools, optional tools, gauges, supports, software and documentation. Keep each quotation’s included scope visible.

03

Operation and support

Review operator handling, setup changes, maintenance access and the agreed service arrangement. Record any site requirements.

04

Delivery scope

Compare delivery time, packaging, transport arrangements and the agreed acceptance process. Keep open technical questions alongside the comparison.

ILLUSTRATIVE SELECTION EXAMPLE

Keep unlike measurements in separate rows

A useful comparison distinguishes the 50-3NC / 50-3NC PRO headline 16 × 250 mm range from positioning features. It also distinguishes a bending center’s gauge accuracy in millimeters from its formed-angle accuracy in degrees.

  • Compare each capacity at the same material, operation and direction; retain angle and tooling conditions.
  • Keep cutter diameter, saw-blade specification, profile envelope and machine stroke under their own labels.
  • Add rows for included tools, options, utilities, packing, delivery, warranty and support, with a visible list of items still to confirm.

Use this example to frame your inquiry. Confirm the finished drawing, machine configuration and tools before selecting equipment.
