CAMAS / EQUIPMENT SELECTION

CNC machining centers
for aluminum profiles.

Machine holes, slots and connection features in aluminum profiles. Start with the faces to be machined, useful travel and clamping access, then compare the machine configurations.

Start with your material, dimensions and drawing. We can help define the configuration.

01 / NARROW YOUR SELECTION

Select by workpiece,
operation and setup

01

Machined faces

Check how the spindle or worktable presents each required face and whether the part needs re-clamping.

02

Useful travel

Compare travel with your part length, clamp positions and tool clearance. Travel is not the same as the effective machining length.

03

Tool changes

Review the cutter list, spindle requirements and whether the chosen model has an automatic tool magazine.

02 / COMPARE THE RANGE

Dimensions with different meanings are listed separately. Tool specifications retain their published field labels; a dash means that field is not published for the model. Axis travel is a machine stroke, not the guaranteed effective machining length — confirm the working range for your part, angle and clamping in the quotation.

03 / BEFORE YOU REQUEST A QUOTE

Configuration, tooling
and quotation questions

Machine price is one part of the decision. Review the working range, tooling and support scope together.

Should I choose a 3-axis or 4-axis machine?

The right choice depends on the faces and features on your part. Review tool access and setup changes against the drawing before deciding on an axis count.

Can the machine process my extrusion?

Share the full cross-section, alloy, stock length and finished-part drawing. Travel alone does not confirm that a profile can be clamped and machined.

What information helps CAMAS prepare a quote?

Share the material, largest workpiece, finished drawing, expected quantity, electrical supply and delivery country. If a detail is undecided, explain what you need to produce.

Keep your process connected.
